trips you can use Enhanced Hybrid Mode where your car automatically switches between
electric and gas propulsion depending on the current need. The computer figures
out the most optimum mode for gas mileage and the performance required by your
right foot. For long range trips you use Standard Prius Mode, just as it came
from the factory.
Once
charged, the car functions more as an electric vehicle, reducing the amount of
